The Dräger X-node is a wireless gas detector that can be connected to a LoRa network. Using this app, the following functions can be configured or executed on the X-node:
- Display of the current gas value
- Display of the current temperature, relative humidity and air pressure
- Configuration of alarm limits, flashing patterns, flashing intervals
- Viewing sensor and device information
- Viewing and configuration of LoRa settings
- Firmware update
- Zero and sensitivity adjustment
- Logger: recording and display of measured values for the last 7 days
To use the Dräger X-node app, a Bluetooth connection must first be established with a Dräger X-node device.
The current measured values for the concentration of the measured gas, the relative humidity, the temperature and the air pressure are displayed in an overview.
Alarm limits can be set in the app. In addition, the user can set at which gas concentration the status LED lights up green, yellow or red. Furthermore, the blinking pattern as well as the time interval in which limit violations are visualized by the status LED can be set.
The app displays the date of the last adjustment. The app can be used to adjust the sensor in the X-node. The app can also be used to update the firmware.
Not only can information about the LoRa connection be displayed via the app, but the parameters for a LoRa connection can also be configured.
Overall, the X-node app is a tool for checking and adjusting the function of the X-node device and integrating it optimally into the IoT landscape.
